My happy girl!!
I just realized that my little girl only has two more months and she will already be 1 year old.  It is crazy how much faster the first year goes than the 9 months being pregnant.  Month 10 Langston has really started to move out of the baby stages.  She is not quite crawling yet, but she can scoot and roll herself where she needs to be and she is trying hard to stay up on her knees.  I see it happening any day now.  She started waving and clapping at the beginning of the month.  She doesn't always do them at the right times, but she has fun with it.  She has also started standing up against things for longer periods of time and a little less wobbly.  Still no signs of walking anytime soon, but I am okay with that.  Sleep this month has been back and forth.  When she is not teething it goes back to normal, but she is cutting two more teeth now (the two on either side of the top two) and it will cause her to not sleep as soundly.  These top teeth must be more painful because she already has three on the bottom and I didn't notice anything with those.  Food has been the biggest change from month 9-10.  She officially doesn't do any pureed food anymore.  Once she started feeding herself food, she decided she was too big for the pureed baby food and wouldn't eat it (which was a bum because I still had a bunch in the freezer that now I am just trying to add into things).  Now she pretty much eats small pieces of everything unless it was smooth like yogurt or applesauce to begin with.  I don't mind it because she seems to do well with most of the food, it is just harder with some of the vegetables because of the textures.  It is more difficult for her to eat some of the ones that she was eating pureed before.  Right now her favorite food is anything with bread (wheat bread, carrot pancakes, corn muffins).  I limit her on those foods, but that would be her first choice if a plate of her food was in front of her.  Her least favorite foods are applesauce and yogurt.  Finally the last new things this month has been her babbling.  She has started saying bababa and mamama a lot.  I know the mama she doesn't know, but the baa..baa.. she will say when she has a ball and I am pretty sure that is what she is trying to say.  We shall see if she talks more and earlier than the boys.
